Administrative Committee Meeting
A lot of work goes into keeping our chapter running behind the scenes. We need to communicate with members through our newsletters and social media, on board new members, and perform many necessary administrative tasks. The Administrative Committee will have a meeting on Monday, March 17 from 6-7 pm. The meeting is open to all interested in helping keep the chapter running smoothly. Students at Wilcox High School are walking out on Monday 3/24 at 1:05 PM and marching to protest the Trump administration. With our upcoming Chapter Convention and the imminent leadership transition, SV-DSA chapter leadership will hold a planning retreat. The meeting is open to non-elected members who have interest in the nuts-and-bolts organizing of the chapter and helping ensure our Chapter Convention runs smoothly and is a fulfilling, engaging event for our membership. Silicon Valley DSA in coalition with the May Day Coalition will be tabling at the Berryessa Flea Market (1590 Berryessa Rd, San Jose, CA 95133, United States) on April 5th from 9 AM to 2 PM. At our annual Chapter Convention, members overwhelmingly voted in favor of having our chapter officially adopt a position to advocate for the adoption of ranked choice voting in Santa Clara County Elections. The electoral working group will have a meeting to discuss strategy and internal organizing housekeeping topics on Wednesday April 23 from 6:30-7:30 on Zoom.
