Labor Movie Night: 10,000 Black Men Named George

Join SVDSA and SEIU Local 521 for a screening of 10,000 Black Men Named George, based on the true story of the first Black-led union in the U.S. The film follows activist A. Philip Randolph’s efforts to organize the black porters of the Pullman Company in 1920s America. Short discussion to follow the film.
Doors open 6:30 pm. Movie starts at 7:00 pm.
