No Kings Vote Early Mass Mobilization in San Jose

Silicon Valley Democratic Socialists of America are continuing our participation in the largest protest movement in US history, the No Kings mobilization. On Saturday, October 17 from 12-2 pm at St. James Park in San Jose we will gather in solidarity with our community in opposition to fascism. The theme for this event is “Vote Early” to encourage participation in the November 3 midterm elections. This election is particularly important since it will include ballot measures endorsed by SV-DSA as part of our Tax the Rich campaign (Yes on Prop 3 and Prop 40 [the billionaire tax] and No on Props 41 & 42 [poison pills that attack Prop 40], plus local Measure E in Redwood City for rent control). Come join the protest movement and hear speakers, including one of our chapter co-chairs, and get the opportunity to meet and build relationships with allied people throughout the South Bay.
