PACK THE COURT: Opening Arguments for Stanford 11’s Trial

Fri, January 9 at 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

[URGENT ACTION] ‼️PACK THE COURT‼️ for the Stanford 11 at 8:30 AM on Friday January 9 at the Hall of Justice, Department 53, 190-200 W. Hedding St, San Jose, CA 95110

In June 2024, students, alumni, and one student reporter were arrested at a sit-in of the office of Stanford University’s president in protest of Stanford’s complicity with Israel’s genocide in Palestine. In Santa Clara County, the District Attorney Jeff Rosen has chosen to charge these protesters against genocide with felonies, and 11 Stanford community members have been indicted on two grand jury charges, making them the first out of thousands of protesters across the nation in the past two years to go to felony trial over their pro-Palestinian activism.

The opening arguments in the Stanford 11’s trial begins on January 9. Show up and pack the court in order to support the Stanford 11, as they fight trumped up charges just for their courage to call out Stanford’s complicity in the genocide!

If you can’t show up, check out Stanford SJP’s action toolkit here about how to support the Stanford 11 through mutual aid for trial expenses as well as calling and emailing public officials. Follow @stanfordsjp and @sit_in_to_stop_genocide for more updates!
