Nodutdol March 1st

Note: This calendar event is for the rally on March 1st.  There will also be a preliminary art build, taking place Sunday 2/23.
Nodutdol, an org of Korean diaspora fighting for a liberated Korea and a world free of imperialism, will rally on March 1 against the U.S.’s annual war games in Korea. This March 1st also marks 106 years since the March 1st Movement, which ignited Korea’s fight for independence from Japanese occupation.

Sat, 3/1, 1-4pm at the Comfort Women Memorial in SF (located in the back of St Mary’s Square park: 651 California St, San Francisco, CA 94108).This mobilization will uplift cultural resistance against US imperialism through a collective jesa (제사) (altar), pungmul (풍물)(drum) performance, live screen printing, a collective art activity, and words from local organizers in the Bay Area. You are invited to wear white to honor our martyrs in the collective struggle, as well as contribute to our jesa via mementos and photos. For screen printing, please bring materials (a shirt, tote, patch) you’d like us to print on!
