SUMMARY:Anti-ALPR National Week of Action Palo Alto Rally
DESCRIPTION:There is a growing nationwide movement fighting against mass surveillance and automated license plate readers (ALPRs) like those made by Flock Safety. Organizers across the country are taking part in a week of action from August 16-22\, and there are several events across the Bay area. Silicon Valley DSA is organizing events in our territory to support our ongoing campaign against ALPRs and mass surveillance. \nOn Thursday August 20\, we are building on our momentum in Palo Alto by hosting a rally outside city hall at 5:30 pm. Come join your neighbors and show what community safety really looks like – not mass surveillance\, but us protecting each other.
