In Santa Clara County\, the District Attorney Jeff Rosen has chosen to charge these protesters against genocide with felonies\, and 11 Stanford community members have been indicted on two grand jury charges\, making them the first out of thousands of protesters across the nation in the past two years to go to felony trial over their pro-Palestinian activism. \nThe next court date for the Stanford 11 is November 17\, where trial proceedings are set to be scheduled and assigned. Therefore\, Silicon Valley DSA’s international solidarity working group is standing in solidarity with the Stanford 11 by holding a weekly phone zap among our members to call Santa Clara County District Attorney Jeff Rosen\, Stanford University’s President Levin\, and Representative Ro Khanna to pressure them to drop these unprecedented charges against the Stanford 11!
