DESCRIPTION:Socialist electoral work has had a big boost with the victory of Zohran Mamdani in the NYC mayoral primary! Comrade Zohran was the keynote speaker at our National Convention in 2023 and now is poised to govern the largest city in the US. His victory came through hard work of working class people like us\, and we will have to build up our capabilities here if we want to achieve something similar! \nThe Electoral working group will have a meeting on Wednesday July 2 at 6:30 on Zoom. We will debrief from our very successful Brew & Chew ranked choice voting event\, have a discussion about past efforts from the group\, and lay out expectations for co-chairs. The meeting is open to all. DESCRIPTION:Come join the International Solidarity Working Group and participate in outreach as part of the No Appetite for Apartheid campaign that we are running locally in Redwood City! This event will be handing out flyers at the Redwood City Farmer’s Market. \nNo Appetite for Apartheid is a national campaign that follows the principles of the Boycott\, Divestment\, Sanctions (BDS) movement to reduce US support for Israeli apartheid and genocide against Palestinians.
