The Justice working group focuses on immigrant rights and defunding the police. Local police unions are strong and fight progressive candidates who run for city council. Schools have more cops than nurses or guidance councilors. When police abuse their power any settlements that pay for their crimes come out of our cities general funds. We pay for their crimes. There is no reforming this.
