Mutual Aid Fundraiser: Meditation + Progressive Muscle Relaxation!

Progressive muscle relaxation is a relaxation technique taught in clinical settings to help people experiencing a variety of health conditions relax. (Be aware–the last time I taught this class, some people fell asleep!) While learning this technique is not a substitute for clinical attention if you have a severe health condition, it can be one tool as part of a toolkit to help with relaxation. 

Feel free to join for any or all of the 6 sessions, which are part of a series of Zoom fundraisers for COVID-19 Mutual Aid. The classes are free with an optional pay-as-you-can donation to fund projects like: distributing masks and hand sanitizer weekly, supplying food and PPE to Gilroy farmworkers, and supplying menstrual supplies to unhoused women. (Note: while the class is free, we’ll hope that you enjoy it so much that you donate here. Suggested donation amount: between $10 – $25.)
