Mutual Aid Fundraiser: Meditation + Progressive Muscle Relaxation!

Meditation can encompass a number of different techniques with different goals.  In this class we will be learning and practicing two simple techniques useful for relaxation and stress reduction.  The techniques and presentation will be entirely secular, with no spiritual or religious baggage so as to be accessible to the widest audience. While learning meditation is not a substitute for clinical attention if you have a severe health condition, it can be one tool as part of a toolkit to help with relaxation. 

Feel free to join for any or all of the 6 sessions, which are part of a series of Zoom fundraisers for COVID-19 Mutual Aid. The classes are free with an optional pay-as-you-can donation to fund projects like: distributing masks and hand sanitizer weekly, supplying food and PPE to Gilroy farmworkers, and supplying menstrual supplies to unhoused women. (Note: while the class is free, we’ll hope that you enjoy it so much that you donate here. Suggested donation amount: between $10 – $25.)
