COVID Organizing Working Meeting (Call) (Newbie-Friendly!)

March 24, 2020 at 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Short URL: https://siliconvalleydsa.org/?p=4913

This meeting is for working on COVID-related organizing such as:

  • researching and writing local, state, and federal legislative demands in response to the crisis, and drafting our communications and how we will spread the word to people
  • organizing with South Bay Mutual Aid and helping connect volunteers and organizations to people who have needs such as grocery delivery
  • helping with ongoing research and planning for production of items such as face masks and sanitizer
  • and much more!

If you’re new or haven’t gotten plugged in to a specific project yet, this is a great way to get connected and start working on a project that you’re interested in right away. If you are working on a project, this is a great way to check in, get help from people who are also interested, and have some time set aside to work on your project.

Overview agenda:

6:30-7pm open meeting, review/brainstorm projects and tasks, divide up work

7pm-8:30pm work on projects; zoom line will remain open for questions and collaboration, but people may drop off the call temporarily to work on tasks if it helps with focus
