Labor History Movie Night: Reds
August 11 at 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Take a break from your labors, convene with your comrades, and learn a little labor history through film. This Saturday we’ll be watching the film, Reds. The Film centers on the life and career of John Reed, the journalist and writer who chronicled the Russian Revolution in his book Ten Days That Shook the World.
Feel free to bring food and beverages you might enjoy, although we will also have some movie snacks available. The venue is a clubhouse in a private apartment complex and comes with lots of comfy seating but you may want to bring your own blankets if you want to get cozy! Building is ramp-accessible. Free parking available at any uncovered spot in the complex lot.
DSA-adjacent friends, family, and interested parties are very welcome to attend (note: movie is 3 hours and 15 minutes long).
